Christian Education
Adult Sunday School
Each Sunday at 10:10 AM, RUCC adults have the opportunity to join in discussion, questioning and contemplation of
religious topics. In the past, we have had courses on "Remedial Christianity," "Homosexuality and the Bible,"  "Women and
Female Images in the Bible," "The Changing Images of God," "The Misunderstood Jew," "The Shack" "Putting Away Childish
Things," the video lecture series, "From Jesus to Constantine," and Barbara Taylor Brown's, "An Altar in the World."
Currently, we are studying "The Greatest Prayer: Rediscovering the Revolutionary Message of the Lord's Prayer" by John
Dominic Crossan. All adults welcome.

Nursery
The nursery is for children ages birth to four years old, and available at all worship services. Please be sure to sign your
children in AND out. (At the nursery attendant’s discretion, worship service volunteers may leave their older children in the
nursery until retrieved by a teacher.)

Kid's Sunday School
RUCC Sunday School Procedures for parents and guardians:
Sunday School is for children ages 5-13 and begins at 11:10 AM. The last row of chairs is reserved during the 11 AM
Contemporary Service for Sunday School children, where they are provided a quiet activity until called up to the stairs for
Storytime. (Activity boards consist of a clipboard, a children’s worship bulletin and a bag of crayons. Children may also sit
with parents if possible.) After Storytime, children are lead to the Sunday School classroom by a teaching minister or
volunteer.
If your child does not attend Sunday School, for their safety, please keep them with you. They are welcome to
take an Activity board to enjoy during the service.

Teen Group (ages 13-19)
Once a month during the school year, area teens are invited to gather in fellowship and fun with games, snack and informal
discussions that cover everything from their daily joys and concerns to a wide range of current topics which they select and
tie into their own lives, community living and faith. Those students requiring community service for scholarships, school, etc.
are offered outreach experiences at least once a month. See the year's schedule below.
