Summary of our Sunday School Programs. Each Sunday we offer professional nursery care for infants and preschoolers
up to age 5. Between services (from 10-11 am) we also offer Sunday School programs for children ages 5 to 12, ages 13-
18, and adults. In the summer, we also have vacation bible school for elementary aged children.
Nursery (infant to preschool): Our nursery attendant, Shivani has been with us since October 2007, and is very excited
about working with young ones. After graduating from Palm Bay High in 2007, she has been attending classes at BCC to
begin her pharmacology degree. She lives in Palm Bay with her parents and a younger brother.
Children's Sunday School (ages 5-12). In the summer months we offer a program called Sunday Summer Fun for children.
The children are involved in fun games, crafts and/or outings based on a different biblical text each week. During the school
year, we use a United Church of Christ Program called “Seasons of the Spirit" that incorporates the Lectionary verses (an
out line of scriptures to use each week) in meaningful and fun lessons and activities
Youth Sunday School (ages 13-18). Each Sunday the youth are invited to join in informal discussions that cover
everything from their daily joys and concerns to a wide range of current topics which they select and tie into their own lives,
community living and faith.
Adult Sunday School. Each Sunday our adults have the opportunity to join in discussion, questioning and contemplation of
religious topics. In the past year we have had courses on "Remedial Christianity," "Homosexuality and the Bible," and
"Women and Female Images in the Bible”, and "The Changing Images of God" planned. Currently, the lesson is, "Science
and Religion." In the fall there will be a class on understanding Islam.
